CleanYourTV on Acer
How CleanYourTV works on Acer TVs: 3 tested model lists, the packages contributors disable most often, and what to watch out for.
3 Acer lists in the official repository. If your exact model is below, the assistant can start from its list; if not, the closest one in the same series is a good start.
The three Acer TVs are Indian models built by SCBC on Realtek chips (RTD2841A and RTD2851M), not MediaTek like most other lists. Two run plain Android TV, where the Google TV setup wizard trap does not exist, and the 32-inch AR32HDIGU2841AT runs Google TV with Live TV and inputs in com.apps.passthrough. The R3 list also gives the Windows PowerShell commands.

A package being common does not make it right for your TV. Each list starts with a header that names the packages that must stay on for that model, such as those behind HDMI inputs, the remote and settings.
Applying your list by hand
TV_HOST=<tv ip> tools/disable.sh examples/acer-ar3-r3/debloat.txt
TV_HOST=<tv ip> launcher/build-and-install.sh
Swap in your model’s folder. To undo it, run tools/restore.sh with the same list; on Google TV add the stock launcher com.google.android.apps.tv.launcherx as the second argument.
Acer questions
Does CleanYourTV work on Acer?
Yes, on models that run Android TV or Google TV. Contributors have tested 3 Acer models so far.
How do I remove ads from my Acer TV?
Turn on USB debugging, then run the CleanYourTV prompt in an AI coding assistant on a computer on the same Wi-Fi, or apply your model’s list by hand. The how-to guide has every step.
Which Acer packages are safe to disable?
The table on this page shows what contributors disabled most often, with their notes. Packages that keep inputs, the remote, settings or the Play Store working are left on. Always keep the list you applied so you can restore it.
Can I undo it?
Yes. Run the restore script with the same list; see how to restore. The TV’s own Settings → Apps page can also re-enable packages.
